Want to offer Charity Matching but don’t have the staff to administer the program? PASS offers a complete range of PAC Match Program services to assist organizations offering a charitable or other incentive match to employees participating in the PAC.

PASS’ PAC Match services include:

Reviewing Charities

PASS will review employee’s charity selections to ensure they meet the PACs giving criteria. Whether your PAC will match to any 501c3 or just a select few, PASS will review each using a nationally recognized charity database and ensure they are a legitimate 501(c)3 organization and are within the list of allowable organizations as determined by the client.

Tracking employee contributions

PASS will track employee contributions to the PAC and calculate PAC match amounts based on the company’s match criteria. Whether your match is $1 for $1, $.50 for $1 or you match after a threshold is met, PASS will make the appropriate calculations and provide you with a detailed list of contributors, their PAC Match charities, and check amounts.

Banking

PASS will provide full or partial banking services for your PAC Match program. Whether you need to have PASS open and maintain a trust account on the company’s behalf or you use a corporate account, PASS will provide banking services. The client will fund the account and PASS will reconcile the account on a monthly basis and provide financial reports to client. PASS will work with the client to determine banking procedures such as cancelled or voided checks and funding requests and ensure that procedures are within the client’s needs. Positive pay arrangements can be made with the bank if required by the client. PASS’ banking services are customized to your program.

Preparing PAC Match checks

After approval by the client contact and client funding of the bank account, PASS will prepare PAC match checks on a schedule as defined by the company. PASS will also prepare customized cover letters to go with the checks as well as employee e-mails/letters so the employees will know that their PAC match contributions have been sent.

Management Reports

PASS will assist clients in accounting for their PAC Match programs by providing a series of detailed reports. Standard reports include a list of employees with designated charities and amount contributed to PAC and to the charity, summary of total funds contributed to each charity, and financial reports for the PAC Match bank account.
